Individual class and race tiers only tell half the story. The Portal multiplies racial passives with class stat scaling—Warrior STR, Defender VIT, Enchanter INT, Cleric WIS—and bad pairings waste mirror rerolls from Codes Hub. This page ranks high-value race-class combos for launch meta and links full build guides.

Use the Race-class picker to simulate before spending mirrors. Remember Job Change deletes moves but not race.

Pairing principles

1. Match primary stat — Enchanter wants INT races (Mushroom); Warrior wants STR (Meat).
2. Respect 10% rares — Keeping High Elf or Corrupted Human beats forcing B-tier commons.
3. Plan CP sources — Pairings assume Combat Points from gear, skills, achievements, codex.
4. Avoid Job Change thrash — Pick pairing before skill book investment.

Party compositions

• Standard: Defender (Wolf/Human) + Warrior (Wolf/Fox) + Cleric (High Elf/Human)
• Magic-heavy: Defender + Enchanter (High Elf) + Cleric (Elf)

Codes and pairing plans

Redeem 5KLIKES, RELEASE, THROUGHTHEPORTAL for mirrors, then reroll toward target pairing. Expired codes like CHAPTER2 will not help.
